Remote, remoteResponsibilities:
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Android development processes, including API guides, SDK manuals, and user instructions.
- Collaborate with Android developers, QA teams, and product managers to ensure technical accuracy and clarity of documentation.
- Write, edit, and structure content in a way that is easily understandable for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Develop tutorials, how-to guides, and best practices to assist developers in integrating Android SDKs and APIs.
- Stay updated on the latest Android technologies and trends to ensure content relevance.
- Review and revise existing documentation to improve quality and align with branding and standards.
- Work closely with UX/UI teams to incorporate visual aids like diagrams, screenshots, and flowcharts into documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing or related fields in the software development industry.
- Strong understanding of Android development concepts, tools, and architecture components (e.g., Kotlin, Android SDK).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control systems (e.g., Git), and Agile workflows.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
