Technical Manager

Position Overview

As a Technical Manager, you will play a key role in leading our technical team and overseeing the development and implementation of technology solutions. You will be responsible for guiding the technical direction of projects, managing resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership:
   - Lead and motivate a team of engineers, developers, and technical specialists to achieve project objectives and meet organizational goals.
   - Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members to foster growth and skill enhancement.

2. Project Management:
   - Plan, prioritize, and manage the execution of technical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to define project requirements and deliverables.

3. Technical Strategy:
   - Develop and communicate a clear technical vision and strategy for the organization, aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
   - Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.

4. Resource Management:
   - Allocate resources effectively to support project initiatives, balancing workload and skillsets to optimize team performance and productivity.
   - Monitor resource utilization and capacity to ensure adequate staffing levels and skill coverage for project requirements.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:
   - Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors, to gather feedback, address concerns, and foster collaboration.
   - Act as a liaison between technical teams and senior management, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in technical leadership roles, with a track record of successfully managing and delivering complex technical projects.

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, technologies, and best practices.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and influence others.

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
